Established in August 2021 by Managing Director Michael, Abnormal Events is the fastest growing events and entertainments company in Yorkshire. Based in the West Yorkshire town of Halifax, our mission is to be an industry leading events and entertainments company across England. I have spent the last 11 years in the events industry from becoming a DJ at 16 to running some of the most successful festival stages across the UK. Then having a touring DJ career in Ibiza and playing with some of the worlds biggest names.
At the end of 2019 I put plans together to start an events company then the dreaded pandemic hit. So putting the plans on hold I spent lockdowns in the Transport Industry whilst having extra time to put together a forward thinking and ready planned company ready to bounce back with once we were able to. I wanted to distance my company away from being an agency where we just take on staff and focus my efforts of being an events company. Fast forward August 2021 when things were returning to normal the applications went in and our limited company was born. We secured some big contracts from the start and continued growing strength to strength. Now in 2023 we're focusing our plans on being that number one name for DJ Hire, Entertainments and planning our own events. I have taken on a team who are very experienced in the industry like me which collectively brings us a combined experience span of over 50 years.
